4 Ways the Nordictrack E11.9 Blows the Competition Out of the Water:
Looking for the best elliptical under $1000?
I recently tried out the Nordictrack E11.9 (full review here) and came away convinced that this one is hands-down, the best elliptical under $1000 on the market right now.
Why? Here are 4 ways it outshines other trainers at this price point:
#1 Full Color Console With Web Browser
While Nordictrack does put full color consoles on their higher end models ($1500+), most trainers under $1000 only come with dual-color consoles as you see here:
But the 11.9 trainer gives you a multi-color console like this:
As you can see the graphics are so much better with the full-color aspect. Plus, you get a full-color web browser as well. So you can surf the net, read emails and more while you workout.
#2 Adjustable For Comfort
This elliptical gives you a large, adjustable footpedals with 3 different toe-heel angles to choose from.
So you can find the right fit and feel for you.
It also comes with a super-heavy 20 pound flywheel for an extra-smooth feel. So you don’t get all the jerky start-and-stop motions you sometimes get with cheaper ellipticals.
Also, the hand grips have been upgraded from older models – they’re designed so that you can put your hands at different points to work your arms (depending on what feels most comfortable for you.)
#3 iFit LIVE Built-In
The Nordictrack 11.9 also comes with iFit LIVE (built-in so you don’t need to buy the extra module). With iFit you can map out and run famous trails all over the world and watch the actual landmarks pass you by in the console screen.
Very cool (this is also why the multi-color console is such a great benefit – scenes in full color!). Visit Paris or Hawaii or hike the Red Rocks of Utah, all with iFit LIVE.
#4 Built-In Tablet Holder
As if #1 – #3 isn’t enough you also get a tablet holder bracket above the console. This means you can watch your favorite shows or movies as you workout.
Plus, since it’s designed so that the tablet does not cover your console, you can watch your tablet – and surf the net (or just see your workout stats) at the same time.
These are all features you really don’t find on other elliptical trainers at this price point – deluxe entertainment and strong construction with a heavy flywheel and adjustable footpedals.
All of this makes the Nordictrack 11.9 elliptical, in my opinion, the best elliptical under $1000 right now.
